This graphic tells the story of Dolores Huerta, a labor leader who fought for United Farm Workers.
It depicts:
- self-determination through unionization
- social justice for labor workers
- civil rights issues
“Huelga” is the Spanish word for strike. This term memorializes the collaborative effort of agricultural workers, and serves as a promise to defend the working class from exploitation.
